Be Great in a Crate!
Class Description
This workshop will be held every other week on Wednesdays from 4pm to 5pm, and you can come to as many as you need to reach your crating goals! You can bring your own crate, or borrow one of ours (just let us know ahead of time if you are borrowing a crate, and your dog’s approximate size). Cost is $45/team, or use a credit from your Nose Work Drop-in Package! Who is this workshop for? Dogs who are training in Nose Work for sport or recreation (on odor or primary) Dogs who are new to crate training* Dogs who are crate trained at home, but struggle in different settings Dogs with separation distress outside of the home** Dogs with FOMO (fear of missing out) in dog sport settings Dogs who are working through feelings about other dogs in close proximity*** *Dogs with previous negative experiences related to crating will likely need a more individualized approach. If your dog is unwilling to go into a crate, please contact us before enrolling. **This course is not intended to resolve separation anxiety or distress occuring at home. ***We will be able to accommodate dogs who need additional space from other dogs, but they must be comfortable hearing and seeing other dogs within 6-8 feet.
